Air Vanuatu
Air Vanuatu is Vanuatu's former national airline, now in voluntary liquidation since May 2024 due to financial difficulties and unsustainable debt. After a suspension of international flights, a government shelf company acquired the airline to facilitate its revival, and some domestic flights have resumed with the help of partner airlines like Solomon Airways and Fiji Airways. The Vanuatu government is working to appoint a new board to oversee the airline's restructure and future management, with hopes of re-entering the international market and collaborating with other Pacific airlines.
