Airport Lounge Host
Job Description
An Airport Lounge Host is the premier hospitality professional responsible for managing the guest experience within an airline’s private club or VIP terminal. This role is defined by "anticipatory service"—identifying and meeting a traveler’s needs before they are voiced. The host ensures that high-net-worth individuals, corporate executives, and frequent flyers enjoy a sanctuary-like environment, overseeing fine dining, bar service, and private workspaces while maintaining total discretion and elegance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Elite Reception: Greeting guests by name and verifying eligibility while maintaining a sophisticated and welcoming first impression.
  • Environment Curation: Monitoring lighting, acoustics, and seating arrangements to ensure the lounge remains a quiet and restful escape from the terminal.
  • F&B Management: Overseeing the presentation of gourmet buffets and coordinating table service for à la carte dining to ensure luxury standards are met.
  • VIP Concierge Support: Assisting guests with gate changes, flight inquiries, or specialized requests like booking shower suites or nap pods.
  • Sanitation & Aesthetics: Conducting constant walkthroughs to ensure the facility remains in "photo-ready" condition, including the removal of trays and restocking of high-end amenities.

Salary Explanation
Salaries for Airport Lounge Hosts are positioned higher than standard terminal roles, reflecting the requirement for high-end hospitality or fine-dining experience.
