The Buddha Dordenma is a massive 51.5-meter (169-foot) tall, gold-plated bronze statue of Shakyamuni Buddha located atop a hill in Thimphu, Bhutan, overlooking the Thimphu Valley. Completed in 2015 to honor the 60th birthday of the fourth King and fulfill ancient prophecies of world peace, it contains over 125,000 smaller bronze Buddha statues
