Bu Maher Fort is a historic 19th-century coastal fortress located on the edge of Muharraq island in Bahrain, serving as the starting point of the UNESCO-listed Pearling Path. Originally built around 1840 to protect the harbour, it was destroyed in 1868 and later excavated to reveal its original foundations, now featuring a modern visitor center accessible by boat from the Bahrain National Museum.
