Kambalda Airport (KDB/YKBL) is a small regional aerodrome near Kambalda, Western Australia, primarily used for Fly-In/Fly-Out (FIFO) charter flights for the gold mining industry, serving operators like National Jet Express and Skippers Aviation with aircraft like Dash 8s and ATR 72s. After being mothballed in 2015, it saw renewed investment and was CASA certified in 2021, with plans for upgrades to accommodate larger aircraft like Airbus A319/A320s, connecting the goldfields to Perth for mining operations and tourism.
