Bahrain Fort

This 4,000-year-old archaeological mound was once the capital of the Dilmun civilization. Visitors can explore the Portuguese-built fort and its on-site museum, which features five galleries detailing the site's various historical eras.

The Pearling Path

Located in Muharraq, this 3.5 km trail is an "open-air museum" documenting the era when pearls drove the local economy. The path includes 17 historic buildings, such as the Siyadi Majlis, and three offshore oyster beds.

Bahrain National Museum

The Bahrain National Museum, inaugurated in 1988 on Manama’s East Corniche, is one of the Gulf's premier cultural institutions. It showcases 6,000 years of history across nine main galleries.

Bu Maher Fort

Bu Maher Fort, located on the southern tip of Muharraq Island, is a key historical site in Bahrain, serving as the first stop on the UNESCO World Heritage "Pearling Trail"

Dilmun Burial Mounds

The Dilmun Burial Mounds in Bahrain are a UNESCO World Heritage site consisting of over 11,000 to 170,000 (estimates vary) ancient tumuli built between 2200 and 1750 BCE.
