You act as a mobile brand ambassador, often entering high-end residential neighborhoods or corporate offices where discretion and punctuality are paramount to the festive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Time-Sensitive Routing: Navigate optimized routes to ensure all holiday deliveries arrive within narrow time windows, particularly for perishable or event-specific items.
  • Safe Freight Handling: Secure and transport fragile holiday goods—such as premium spirits, glass-bottled oils, or intricate gift towers—to prevent damage during transit.
  • Professional Presentation: Deliver items with a polished demeanor, often assisting with basic setup or placement of gifts as requested by the client.
  • Digital Documentation: Utilize mobile delivery apps to track inventory, obtain digital signatures, and provide real-time proof-of-delivery photos.
  • Vehicle Readiness: Maintain cleanliness and perform basic safety checks on delivery vehicles to ensure they reflect a high-end brand image throughout the season.
 
 
Salary Expectations
Compensation varies based on whether you are using a company vehicle or operating as an independent contractor.
  • Average Hourly Rate: Approximately $19.50 per hour.
  • Base Range: Typically between $16.00 and $24.00 per hour.
  • Peak Premiums: Many companies offer seasonal bonuses or "peak pay" increases of $2.00 – $5.00 extra per hour during the December rush.
  • Independent/Gig Rates: Drivers using their own vehicles for luxury concierge apps can earn $25.00 – $40.00+ per hour including tips.
