Built in 1576 by Paulo Dias de Novais, the Fortaleza de São Miguel in Luanda, Angola, is a historic, star-shaped fort that served as the Portuguese administrative center and a major slave trade hub. It currently houses the National Museum of Military History, displaying tanks, planes, and colonial-era artifacts, offering panoramic views of the bay.
