The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism People-to-People program is a free, 50-year-old initiative that pairs visitors with local volunteer ambassadors for authentic cultural exchanges. It offers personal, non-commercial experiences like home-cooked meals, church visits, or local tours to foster genuine connections beyond typical tourist activities.
The Purpose is to provide visitors with an intimate, "day in the life" experience of Bahamian culture, moving beyond resorts and typical tours.
Our itinerary planner allows your your visitors to book immediately when registering their stay to plan their trip ahead of time and visit local attractions. Once submitted our system will print out the itinerary, along with a copy of the booking details.
